To celebrate, tonight’s a big party at the station! Come on down to tour the station, in the atrium of the Alaska building at 1020 W. Main St., meet some deejays and check out the studio! Then swing on by our good friends at Record Exchange for a supplemental Radio Boise KRBX soiree.

From 6-8pm Stardust Lounge will have two guests in the studio:
Hannah, will chat up a free music service, Freegal, provided by Boise Public Library!;
And Just Some Clown will spin a special set from 6:20-7:00 pm!

You can listen to a preview of Stardust Lounge’s “Premium Pick Up” set here.

Donate to Win a Stardust Lounge Disco

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I believe in community run airwaves so much that not only am I a Radio Boise (KRBX) contributing member (donate cash to KRBX monthly), I also volunteer to host a weekly radio show (Stardust Lounge on Thursday evenings 6-8pm MST).

I believe everyone having a voice in our media is an integral component of keeping America a free and open society.  Keeping us free to be you and me.

Now I am asking you to donate some cash as the station cannot run on volunteerism and goodwill alone.

For everyone who donates to Radio Boise KRBX during the Stardust Lounge radio show on either Thursday, Oct. 17 or Oct. 24, you will be eligible to win a Stardust Lounge Disco ($300 value)!!!

That’s right: you provide the venue, invite your friends and provide the sound system; I bring the tunes (1-3 hours) and dance lights; and together we’ll coordinate schedules, come up with a theme and promote the hell out of it  (or however you want).

Here’s the deal:

On Thursday (Oct. 17) you call (208) 258-2072 or (208) 901-8991 to donate during Stardust Lounge (between 6-8pm );

OR submit your donation online (see options below) and tell ’em “Stardust Lounge” is a reason why you love Radio Boise.

As soon as we reach our Fall 2013 Radiothon fundraising goal of $50,000 the radiothon is over! So don’t wait, donate pronto!

We’ll draw the winner at the end of Fall 2013 Radiothon. Winner will be announced on-air during the First Thursday broadcast on Nov. 7 so be listening.

Thanks for Listening! Thanks for voting Radio Boise KRBX The Best Local Radio Station of 2013 in Boise Weekly’s Best of Boise! And Thanks for Giving!
